Privacy notice

The data controller is Global Technical Supplies Commercial Ltd, trading as Skire. Registered in England and Wales, Company No. 11740368. Registered office: 24 Fitzroy Square, London W1T 6EP. For anything about your data, email trade@skire.co.uk.

When you fill in the Founding Partner form, we receive:

• your name, company name and email address;
• your phone number, if you give it;
• your postcode area (the first part of your postcode only);
• whether you are a limited company, sole trader or other;
• your message, if you write one;
• the campaign tags in the link you followed to reach us (for example which post you clicked), if any.

To stop automated abuse of the form, our server briefly holds your IP address in memory for about ten minutes. It is not stored with your enquiry. Our hosting provider also keeps standard technical logs.

• To reply to your enquiry and discuss becoming a Founding Partner. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to businesses that contact us.
• To tell you about the launch of Skire. Legal basis: your consent, given with the checkbox on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us or replying to any of our emails.
• To see which posts or adverts bring enquiries, using the campaign tags. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how people find us.

We do not sell your data. We use a small number of service providers who process it on our behalf:

• website hosting (Vercel);
• email delivery (Resend);
• our email mailboxes (Google Workspace).

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

We keep your enquiry for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete it. If you become a partner, we keep the details we need to run that relationship for as long as it lasts and as the law requires. If you withdraw consent to launch updates, we stop sending them straight away.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the data we hold about you;
• ask us to correct or delete it;
• ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• withdraw your consent at any time.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) is the UK regulator for data protection, and you have the right to complain to it at ico.org.uk.
